The staff at TADDLECREEK believe that the fundamental purpose of teachers, in conjunction with parents and the community is to assist students in the fulfillment of their potential while reaching a station which will allow them to cultivate productive and rewarding lives.
Upon completion of the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) TADDLECREEK students will:
use language in both the verbal and written forms effectively;
use mathematical and scientific knowledge to solve problems;
use logical and thoughtful approaches to problem solving;
use a variety of technologies to enhance their school and personal work;
use the arts to enhance their personal expression;
make wise, responsible, positive and healthy lifestyle decisions based on a solid system of values;
relate knowledge acquisition to political and socio-economic issues of global import;
understand the importance of cooperative activity in the accomplishment of personal and societal goals;
appreciate and value individual differences;
realize that learning and personal growth are interdependent and life-long processes;
